Descripción

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

LEAD / STRATEGISE / TRANSFORM.

SUMMARY:

As a Project Manager, you function as the "CEO of the Project," taking full accountability for Fixed-Fee discipline and the governance of complex technical lifecycles, including AI/ML and Lakehouse. You are a decisive facilitator with high situational awareness, providing value-based trade-off options when scope adjustments are needed.

WHY THIS ROLE?

  • Leadership: Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate the activities of other personnel.

  • Strategic Shift: This role represents a fundamental shift from managing tactical tasks to managing broader organizational outcomes.

  • Complexity: Own high-visibility, strategic implementations for major enterprise accounts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • High-Stakes Delivery: Manage complex, Fixed-Fee implementations with rigorous governance.

  • Work Structures: Create granular Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and associate effort and resource naming to specific tasks.

  • Financial Governance: Apply Critical Path Methodology (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) for accurate risk forecasting.

  • Cross-functional Alignment: Network with key contacts outside your own area of expertise to ensure delivery success.

  • Continuous Improvement: Present "Lessons Learned" decks to regional teams to optimize future upstream pre-sales and scoping.

  • Service Selling: Support pre-sales activities by identifying upsell opportunities and contributing to service scoping.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Typically 2-5 years of field experience in a services delivery or technical implementation role.

  • Typically 5-8 years of related experience in technical project management.

  • Experience in data engineering is a strong plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Advanced Smartsheet/Project modeling and the ability to query Snowflake metadata for consumption reporting.

  • Professional working proficiency in English

  • Demonstrated proficiency in EVM and CPM to identify and mitigate schedule/cost variances.

  • SnowPro Core (required) and PMP preferred.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
