Intuit internships are 12 weeks throughout the summer. We have fixed start and end dates that are designed to work with various universities’ academic calendars.

  • Cohort 1: Monday, May 17 - Friday, August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Cohort 2: Monday, June 14 - Friday September 3, 2027 (12 weeks)

About the Internship:


Several of Intuit’s strategy and business operations teams are hiring MBA interns for Summer 2027 through this posting. Wherever you land, the shape of the work is the same: a defined, high-visibility strategic problem, rigorous analysis, and a recommendation delivered to senior leaders who will act on it. You’ll be a trusted member of a small team, gain exposure to senior leadership, receive mentorship from experienced leaders, and build a toolkit that accelerates your career. Our summer internships serve as a key pipeline for full-time opportunities following MBA graduation. Interns are matched to one of the following teams based on background and interest:


  • Corporate Strategy & Development (CS&D): Shape Intuit’s company-wide and business unit growth strategy — new offerings, partnerships, and international growth.
  • Consumer Group Business Operations: Drive strategy-to-execution clarity, accountability, and operational efficiency across the Consumer Group as it pursues Taxes Done for Everyone.
  • Mid-Market Group — Strategy & Transformation: Accelerate Mid-Market growth strategy and operating model, spanning organic and inorganic opportunities.
  • SMB & Business Platform — Business Operations: Rotate across BizOps pods embedded withQuickBooks product VPs, turning ambiguous business problems into decisions leadership acts on.
  • Pricing & Monetization: Own a scoped, high-visibility analysis shaping how the QuickBooks Online platform is priced and packaged, including new AI monetization models.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with project teams, leaders, and cross-functional business partners on structured problem solving to address high-priority strategic questions.
  • Conduct rigorous research and analysis — customer and expert interviews, market and competitive assessments, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Build the analytical foundation for your recommendations: financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, market sizing, and pricing or willingness-to-pay analysis, depending on team.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans — roadmap trade-offs, operating plans, and KPIs with clear performance measurement.
  • Synthesize complex, ambiguous inputs into a clear point of view — not just a summary of options.
  • Create and deliver compelling, executive-ready narratives and presentations, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders (up to VP level) by the end of the summer.
  • Participate in team operating rhythms (staff meetings, business reviews) to see how decisions actuallyget made and tracked.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program graduating in May/June 2028 and returning to complete your second year following the internship. (An advanced quantitative or economics master’s may beconsidered for the Pricing & Monetization team.)
  • Prior full-time work experience before business school (2+ years required; 4+ preferred for Corporate Strategy & Development), ideally in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business operations,finance, pricing, or a similar cross-functional role at a leading company.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills, with creativity in problem solving andsound business judgment.
  • Structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving; comfort with ambiguity and complex, cross-dependentchallenges; able to move from a messy business question to a data-backed recommendation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; able to state a clearpoint of view and influence executive audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; builds relationships quickly and collaborates effectively across functions andwith senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
  • Highly skilled with modern AI tools, agents, and automation, with an instinct for where they canremove manual work from processes critical to running the business.
  • Self-directed with a strong sense of ownership and accountability; able to operate across multiplestakeholders with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Open to developmental feedback, eager to learn, and a collaborative, low-ego teammate.
  • Ability to work onsite in Mountain View a minimum of 3 days per week.


Nice to Have

  • Small business B2B, SaaS, fintech, or PLG/self-serve experience.
  • Case interview or client-facing engagement experience.
  • Experience designing, building, or shipping ML/AI or automation solutions that changed how a teamactually worked.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: $50 - 65/hr in MTV.
