We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Solution Designer  to join our Finance Product organization. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, partnering across Finance, Accounting, Workforce Planning, and Technology to design and deliver scalable planning and forecasting solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong finance domain expertise, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and experience translating complex business requirements into actionable solution designs. You will play a key role in supporting Strategic Finance initiatives including workforce planning, forecasting, financial modeling, process optimization, and enterprise planning transformations across platforms such as Anaplan and Pigment.

What You Get To Do

Solution Design & Business Partnership

  • Partner with Strategic Finance stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, and future-state needs.
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering efforts.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution designs.
  • Perform impact assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility evaluations across complex finance processes.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with organizational goals, user experience needs, and enterprise architecture standards.

Program & Project Delivery

  • Support end-to-end delivery of finance technology initiatives from concept through deployment.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Model Builders, Data Engineering, Change Management, and business stakeholders throughout execution.
  • Define scope, prioritize enhancements, and support roadmap planning activities.
  • Facilitate UAT planning, testing, business signoff, and production readiness activities.
  • Drive issue resolution and support continuous improvement efforts following deployment.

Finance Process Transformation

  • Design scalable planning, forecasting, workforce planning, and reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve user experience, and increase automation.
  • Balance immediate business needs with long-term platform strategy and maintainability.
  • Drive adoption of best practices across planning processes, solution design, and governance.

Stakeholder Leadership

  • Build strong partnerships across Finance, Accounting, HR, Enterprise Technology, and Data organizations.
  • Communicate effectively with audiences ranging from end users to executive leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align priorities, manage dependencies, and drive decisions.
  • Influence outcomes through data-driven recommendations and thoughtful solution design.

To Be Successful In This Role You Have:

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Enterprise Applications, Product Delivery, or Solution Design.
  • Experience supporting planning, forecasting, workforce planning, accounting, or enterprise finance processes.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Anaplan, Pigment, or other enterprise planning platforms.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale finance transformations or enterprise planning initiatives.
  • Familiarity with integrations, data flows, and enterprise system architecture concepts.
  • CPA, MBA, Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or related background preferred.

 

 

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $146,200 - $255,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
