Job Summary

As a Prisma SD-WAN Senior Professional Services Consultant, you will serve as a key technical authority guiding enterprise clients through branch network transformations and SASE integrations. You will bridge high-level architecture with deep engineering—driving the hands-on deployment, path policy configuration, and cloud integration of Prisma SD-WAN. Acting as the trusted face of Palo Alto Networks, you will solve complex routing, zone-based firewall, and WAN optimization challenges while migrating clients off legacy architectures. We value foundational mastery in routing and switching, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and govern enterprise-wide Prisma SD-WAN solutions, defining path policy sets and SASE integration blueprints.

  • Drive end-to-end deployment of Prisma SD-WAN infrastructure, configuring ZTP, AppFabric, and routing protocols.

  • Lead technical migrations off legacy architectures onto cloud-native Prisma SD-WAN, implementing path optimization strategies.

  • Design and deploy native FW frameworks on SD-WAN appliances, establishing custom security zones and filtering controls.

  • Lead advanced troubleshooting for high-impact SD-WAN routing and SASE integration incidents across deployments.

  • Manage customer expectations, provide proactive feedback loops, and mentor junior engineers to exceed operational metrics.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical consulting, Professional Services, or Solutions Architecture role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or high-tier escalation support experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Routing and Switching fundamentals grounded in the TCP/IP Model.
  • Expert-level command of TCP/IP and underlay/overlay routing protocols including Static Routing, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Technical proficiency in API-driven automation utilizing REST APIs, CloudBlades, and Zero-Touch Provisioning.
  • Hands-on security and traffic policy engineering expertise, encompassing IPsec, SSL/TLS, and firewall security policies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in architectural design and deployment of enterprise SD-WAN solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Networking architectures, including public cloud connectivity and legacy WAN implementations.
  • Palo Alto Networks certifications (PSE: Prisma SD-WAN) or industry-equivalent networking credentials.
