We are looking for a Manager of BI & Data Engineering to lead our data strategy, infrastructure, analytics, integrations, and automation capabilities. This role will define the organizational data roadmap, ensuring that our data architecture is scalable, our business systems are properly integrated, our metrics are consistent, and our data actively supports automation and executive decision-making.

This role will report directly to our Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), serving as the bridge between complex data engineering, platform architecture, and business growth.

What you will do at Letmino:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and technical excellence.

• Executive Decision Support: Translate complex data structures into high-impact executive reports and insights to influence strategic business decisions and area-level roadmaps.

• Data Governance & Metric Consistency: Establish and oversee data governance frameworks to guarantee consistency, integrity, and alignment of key business metrics across the organization.

• Data Architecture & Data Warehouse: Define and evolve a scalable data architecture and data warehouse that provides a reliable source of truth for analytics, business operations, and automation.

• Data Engineering: Oversee the design, orchestration, optimization, and documentation of ETL/ELT pipelines and data models within AWS and Google Cloud environments.

• Design an architecture to receive data from multiple sources, such as CRMs (Hubspot / pipedrive), ERP (Netsuite), Support systems (Zendesk), work management systems (JIRA), and ensure a smooth and comprehensive process to extract insights from all the company data.

• Use of AI: In our vision, AI is an integral part of data driven decision making for the company, starting from the very own data engineering and BI process. You'll be in charge of using AI to empower Letmino and our customers to extract better insights from our data, and to enable your team to work efficiently and effectively.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Business, Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to translate business needs into scalable data, integration, and automation solutions.

Requirements:

• Solid experience (6+ years) in Data Analytics and Data Engineering, with at least 4 years leading and managing data teams in fast-paced or SaaS environments.

• Strategic & Analytical Vision: Strong ability to connect data initiatives with business outcomes, building analytical frameworks that drive organizational efficiency.

• Technical Background: Deep understanding of data architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and pipeline optimization. Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python. Hand-on work will be required.

• Cloud & ETL Expertise: Solid experience overseeing ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing in cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Google Cloud.

• Experience leveraging AI tools and frameworks to optimize Data Engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI processes.

• Advanced skills in data storytelling and communicating technical concepts, data insights, and findings clearly to C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders.

• Fluent in English (oral and written).

• Based in Madrid or nearby, as the position follows a semi-remote model with regular in-office collaboration.

Nice to have:

• Experience setting and scaling data and engineering standards from scratch within an EdTech or B2B SaaS company.

• Familiarity with modern data stacks, and advanced data security compliance.

• Proactive mindset for process automation and continuous optimization of cloud costs.

• Fluent in Portuguese will be a plus
