Senior Enterprise Account Executive – Financial Services – New York City

Location: Hybrid | Must be based in the New York City area

About the job

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive in the Financial Services Sales Division, you will be managing and growing SAS' footprint with global iconic Banks and other Financial Services accounts.

This is a high profile role with great accounts and an exceptional team!

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, you will:

  • Sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers by leveraging sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Prospect within assigned accounts to uncover business needs, qualify opportunities, and determine resources required for success.
  • Implement territory and account management strategies, identifying high-potential accounts, advancing opportunities through the sales cycle, and forecasting timelines to close business.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales resources, virtual sales teams, account managers, and executives to ensure timely responses to qualified, high-revenue leads and strategic account development.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, working cross-functionally to finalize agreements and set delivery schedules.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience of related education), training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Requires a minimum of either years of software/SaaS sales experience.
  • Must have previous experience selling software or technical solutions into large global Banks and other Financial Services accounts.
  • Looking for a hunter, who has a successful track record of selling complex technical solutions into large banks and other financial entities.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS applications and user needs; navigate complex sales cycles and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $164,993 USD - $201,660 USD per year and is a good faith estimate only.  The range does not include any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  Actual pay will vary depending on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Pay is just one component of SAS’s total compensation package for employees. Employees may also be eligible for commission or discretionary bonus (based on company and individual performance) as determined by the role.
