Context:
The position is in the Central FinOps team where it will drive FinOps activities for a product family.

Services:
Central FinOps offers to entities and product families consulting but also controlling of FinOps practices and activities. This includes reporting, consulting as well as implementing FInOps practices.

Expertise:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on expertise in Cloud operations and/or financial management, having acquired familiarity with cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, financial and systems for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Expertise in IT asset management or cost accounting is a plus.

Technical expertise’s:
• Certifications from Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid expertise of cloud-based application architectures.
• Solid mastery of cloud-related data, technical and financial, relating to the analysis and optimization of cloud usage, and management and allocation of cloud resources, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Expertise of financial systems and tools for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.


Deliverables:
• Establishing and managing cloud financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Defining and implementing financial policies and controls for cloud operations.
• Monitoring and reporting on cloud usage, costs, and performance.
• Collaborating with Product teams and technical teams to help them optimize cloud usage without compromising reliability or performance
• Designing and running a holistic FinOps framework to drive a multi-domain governance, looking at innovation, effective decision processes, efficiency leverage and usage optimization
• Propagating the best practices in cloud financial management across the Department stakeholders
