Position overview
We are looking for a skilled and commercially drivenAccount Executive, Splunk to join our sales team in France.
In this role, you will focus on building and growing relationships with major enterprise customers, including top brands across theSBF 120. We need someone who understands complex enterprise sales, can navigate senior stakeholder relationships, and knows how to turn customer needs into clear business opportunities.
You will be responsible for developing account strategies, growing revenue across the cybersecurity and observability portfolio, and positioning Splunk as a trusted partner for customers looking to strengthen resilience, security, and operational performance.

What you'll do
As part of our sales team, we will expect you to manage and grow strategic enterprise accounts, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and identify new business opportunities across existing and target accounts.
You will lead complex sales cycles from account planning and pipeline development through to negotiation, forecasting, and closing. This will include engaging with C-level stakeholders, leading commercial discussions, and building agreements that support both customer needs and business goals.
We will also rely on you to develop targeted sales strategies for your territory, increase account penetration, and expand market share across the cybersecurity and observability portfolio.
You will work closely with teams across Cisco and Splunk, including engineering, product, marketing, legal, operations, customer support, and partner teams, to shape customer solutions and support successful delivery.
You will bring strong market awareness, understand customer business models, and use competitor and industry insights to identify opportunities, shape account plans, and support long-term growth.
You will also help customers understand the value of Splunk across security, observability, cloud, SaaS, AI, data transformation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a strong record of quota achievement, ideally with large, complex, global enterprise customers.
  • Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or observability solutions.
  • Confidence operating at CxO level and navigating complex enterprise buying cycles.
  • Boardroom-level executive presence, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers and close multi-million-dollar enterprise software deals.
  • Solid understanding of MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Ability to build, scale, and manage high-value pipelines aligned to strategic business goals.
  • Accurate forecasting and commitment delivery across large portfolios and extended sales cycles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good operational rigor and fluency using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity environments would be valuable.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, including cloud infrastructure, security, observability, and digital transformation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Native French and fluent English, both written and spoken.
