As an Enterprise Architect within the consulting team, you will help clients in strategic industry sectors translate business strategies into effective enterprise-wide technology solutions. You’ll lead architecture engagements, ensure alignment of business and IT landscapes, and drive transformation roadmaps that create measurable business value. Your industry experience (Energy & Utilities, Transport, Life Sciences, Manufacturing) will be key to understanding domain-specific challenges and solutions at scale. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, helping organisations navigate complex transformation journeys (e.g. digital transformation, platform modernisation, data-driven operating models, cloud adoption) while addressing industry-specific challenges in Energy & Utilities, Transport, Life Sciences or Manufacturing at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior business stakeholders to shape enterprise strategy and align technology direction with organisational goals. 
  • Lead the development of target architecture blueprints, enterprise roadmaps, and transformation plans. 
  • Define architecture principles, standards and governance processes. 
  • Translate complex business requirements into architectural designs and IT roadmaps. 
  • Drive cross-domain alignment across business, data, application and technology architectures, ensuring consistency between strategic intent and solution delivery.
  • Support implementation governance, architecture decision reviews, and risk management. 
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior architects.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or similar strategic IT roles. 
  • Industry experience in Energy & Utilities, Transport, Life Sciences or Manufacturing. 
  • Strong knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, and enterprise architecture methodologies. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms, data integration, and modern digital architectures. 
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
