QA Engineer for Celestis NMS

Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of the Transport R&D Test and Requirement team, reporting to the Test team leader, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Contribute to user-stories created by the product owner
• Write test cases and implement automated test cases
• Perform manual tests for first run and not automatable tests
• Maintain the automatic test database
• Participate to test campaign based on automated test and manual test
• Problem identification, report and management
• Discuss problem resolution with software and/or hardware developers
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Active participation to Scrum ceremonies
• Contribute to test and development methodology improvement
• Contribute to build our CI/CD platform

Profile and skills:

You are an autonomous, team player engineer with the following skills and experience:

General

• 5+ years as test engineer
• Fluent in both English and French (oral, written)
• Agile / Scrum methodology

Technical knowledge

• Good knowledge of tests environments
• Robot Framework, Robot Framework libraries web oriented (Browser library, etc…)
• GitLab
• Jira/Xray
• Python and Java Basic understanding
• JSON REST APIs
• Knowledge in continuous integration (GITLab CI)
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (DWDM and/or OTN knowledge is welcome)

Behavioral indicators

• Capacity to work in collaborative agile environment
• Self-motivated, with good analytical skills
• Ability to work in an international environment
