The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in aligning strategic investments with business leaders, evaluating the financial impact of operational decisions, and building rigorous financial models that drive better decision-making across a large, complex, and fast-changing organization. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to build broad FP&A muscle and strategic judgment.
Responsibilities
You will partner across finance and cross-functional teams to ensure financial outcomes are tightly linked to operational drivers and decisions, enabling growth, efficiency, and better insight across the business. Examples of projects and responsibilities include:
Strategic & Financial Planning
Partner with business and finance leaders on short and long-term strategic and financial plans, surfacing investment and efficiency opportunities
Build financial models to evaluate business performance, unit economics, ROI, and scenario outcomes
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations
FP&A Excellence
Drive mid-month and month-end financial review across teams, identifying and quantifying key variance drivers
Own headcount planning, including baseline, forecast, variance to plan and translating strategy into headcount and cost implications
Improve planning and reporting rigor through automation and AI-enabled tools
Business Partnership & Impact
Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, balancing financial discipline with business agility to drive delivery of results
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and executive-level recommendations to enable timely business decisions
Support leadership presentations and communication with key stakeholders across finance, operations, and product teams
Qualifications
4+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or data science in tech company
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experiences in Python or SQL preferred
A proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Collaborative team player with a growth mindset and intellectual curiosity
Strong problem-solving skills combined with bias to action, with demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic insights and business results
Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience conveying insights to senior audiences
Bachelor degree in business or finance area required; advanced degree or certification such as MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
