Description

Responsibilities
  • Support the Critical Projects operating cadence, including weekly reviews focused on Amber/Red items, missed commitments, dependencies, risks, and decisions.

  • Partner with engineering leads and action owners to maintain clear project outcomes, accountable owners, milestones, health rationale, next steps, blockers, and leadership asks.

  • Prepare concise status updates and portfolio summaries for engineering and program leadership.

  • Track cross-functional dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items; ensure owners and due dates are clear.

  • Facilitate project working sessions, follow up on agreed actions, and help teams resolve coordination gaps.

  • Escalate material risks, missed commitments, and unresolved dependencies through the appropriate channels.

  • Support the development and maintenance of integrated project plans, milestone tracking, recovery plans, and portfolio dashboards.

  • Maintain high-quality Critical Projects records, including milestone status, risk and issue tracking, decisions, and update freshness.

  • Provide targeted project-management support for initiatives that need help with planning, stakeholder alignment, dependency management, or recovery execution.

  • Improve reporting consistency, operating processes, and adoption of portfolio-management tools over time.

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of project or program management experience supporting complex, cross-functional technical, engineering, infrastructure, or product initiatives.

  • Experience coordinating schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and stakeholder communications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn technical updates into concise status, risks, impacts, and leadership asks.

  • Ability to facilitate working sessions, follow through on decisions, and build effective relationships with engineering and cross-functional partners.

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and changing priorities.

  • Good judgment in identifying when an issue requires escalation or additional support.

  • Experience with project-management, portfolio-management, and collaboration tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar certification is a plus.

What Success Looks Like
  • Critical Projects have clear owners, current milestones, visible risks, and actionable next steps.

  • Engineering and action owners consistently maintain their commitments and project updates.

  • Leadership receives reliable, concise reporting on project health, material risks, key dependencies, and decisions needed.

  • Amber and Red items are identified early, assigned clear recovery actions, and escalated when necessary.

  • Cross-functional dependencies and decisions are actively tracked and resolved before they materially affect delivery.

  • The Critical Projects process improves accountability, transparency, and execution across the portfolio.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $67,900 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
