We are looking for a Software Asset Management (SAM) to support software license governance, compliance activities and license optimization initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring effective software asset management practices while identifying opportunities to improve license utilization and financial efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the software license and asset lifecycle.
  • Monitor acquired, assigned, installed and utilized software licenses.
  • Identify discrepancies, risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Support evidence collection for compliance reviews and Effective License Position (ELP) analyses.
  • Identify unused, underutilised or unsuitable software licences.
  • Recommend licence reharvesting, downgrade and reuse strategies.
  • Monitor changes in software licensing models and metrics.
  • Support software renewals, procurement activities, true-up and true-down processes.
  • Support software vendor audits and compliance initiatives.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data and identifying inconsistencies.
  • Financial awareness and a focus on cost optimization.
  • Ability to interpret software licensing contracts and rules.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical, financial and business stakeholders.
  • Fluent English.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to translate technical analyses into executive recommendations.
