Description

Come join the core of the QuickBooks Online ecosystem as a Senior Product Manager on the QuickBooks Accounting Automation team. Our mission is to automate accounting for over 7 million small businesses around the world by replacing tedious bookkeeping with a 'done-for-you' experience powered by the Accounting Agent — so our customers can spend their time managing and growing their business, confident their books are compliant and accurate.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who is energized by building agentic, AI-native products at the heart of QuickBooks. You'll lead product innovations that delight small businesses and the accountants who serve them — defining how the Accounting Agent learns each customer's business, sets them up for success, and personalizes their accounting over time. You'll build deep customer empathy, translate it into AI-powered experiences that materially change how accounting gets done, and power growth across Intuit’s Global Small Business Group, where virtually every team leverages the accounting capabilities we build.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an AI-forward product strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs, with a clear point of view on where agentic experiences create the most value

  • Survey the state of the industry, the AI/ML landscape, and emerging model capabilities to identify the next wave of accounting innovations — and translate those signals into concrete product bets

  • Translate product strategy into an actionable roadmap that delivers measurable outcomes for customers and the business

  • Lead a cross-functional team across engineering, design, applied AI/ML, and product to build agentic experiences that automate accounting end-to-end

  • Define how the Accounting Agent reasons, acts, and improves over time — including the evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and trust mechanisms that make 'done-for-you' accounting feel reliable and compliant

  • Ruthlessly prioritize your team's backlog and drive dependent work across teams

  • Partner extensively across business units to define and execute plans; drive decision-making, role clarity, alignment, and escalations as necessary

  • Identify key hypotheses, design the right experiments (including AI-specific evals and offline/online testing), align teams on the learning plan, and execute with speed

  • Take a data-driven approach to defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plans, progress, and outcomes

  • Proactively communicate with other teams, stakeholders, and leaders

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record in SaaS product management delivering experiences that solve core customer needs

  • Experience shipping AI- or ML-powered product experiences in production — comfort with the realities of probabilistic systems, evaluation, latency/cost tradeoffs, and building user trust in automated outcomes

  • Fluency with the current AI landscape (LLMs, agents, RAG, evals) and a strong instinct for which problems are best solved by AI versus traditional software

  • User-focused mindset, drawing out deep customer insights and combining them with data to fuel product vision and direction

  • Ability to uncover customer needs and leverage the latest technologies to create innovative solutions

  • Can fluidly operate at multiple levels — distilling insights for leadership and sweating the details on the ground

  • Excited by the prospect of innovating within the core of the QuickBooks ecosystem, where partnering and prioritizing across many stakeholders is the norm

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in complex environments with a strong bias for action

  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration; strong at influencing and negotiating

  • Customer-obsessed and highly collaborative
