Descrizione

At Intuit, our mission is powering prosperity around the world. Every day we innovate with our flagship products — TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma — touching the financial lives of more than 100 million customers worldwide. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

In Design at Intuit, we are intentionally building AI into how we design, prototype, and ship — and we're committed to equipping our teams to work at the forefront of it. We look for designers who are excited to bring AI into their workflow — using it to move faster, explore further, and save their energy for the decisions that only human judgment and creativity can make. We're looking for designers who are curious, eager to experiment, and excited to continually evolve how they work.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to contribute and help shape Intuit’s AI native development platform. In this role, you will design for developer-facing experiences across Intuit's platform — including Builder Hub, our central destination for internal builders. You'll bring a strong design point of view, champion the needs of developer audiences, and help elevate the craft and direction of the broader design team.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about design, a collaborative team player, creative problem solver, strong communicator, and a constant advocate for the customer. Platform designers bring a unique skill set — combining deep UX craft with an understanding of developer needs, technical workflows, and platform ecosystems. This is a hybrid role requiring in-person collaboration 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

•Drive End-to-End Design Execution: Contribute to complex, developer-facing initiatives across Builder Hub and Intuit's broader platform—from problem framing and conceptualization to high-fidelity specs and production implementation.

•Design experiences that make AI-powered features intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for a diverse range of users

•Champion Developer Empathy & Advocacy: Develop a deep understanding of technical workflows, mental models, and pain points to design elegant experiences that eliminate friction and accelerate developer velocity.

  • Conduct Research & Rapid Experimentation: Partner with research to establish clear learning plans and testable hypotheses, validating a broad spectrum of ideas through iterative prototyping and direct customer feedback.
  • Advance Design Vision & Strategy: Articulate a compelling design point of view grounded in customer data and industry trends, confidently communicating design rationale to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Scale Systems & Elevate Craft: Contribute to and evolve platform design systems by creating reusable patterns, raising quality standards, and providing constructive feedback during design reviews.Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work seamlessly with product managers, engineers, content strategists, researchers, and analysts to transform complex technical constraints into intuitive user journeys.
  • Pioneer AI-Powered Design Workflows: Actively experiment with and advocate for AI-powered design tools and workflows — staying current with how artificial intelligence is reshaping the craft of product design and helping the team adopt effective new approaches

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. A graduate degree is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into your design workflow to improve quality, speed, or exploration
  • 4+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and methods
  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design methods, including research planning, journey mapping, interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Expertise in conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
  • Proven experience navigating technically complex initiatives and translating technical constraints into seamless user experiences
  • Demonstrated mentorship and investment in the growth of colleagues and team craft
  • Working knowledge of design tools (Figma required); fluency in AI prototyping tools (Builder, Claude or Cursor) and agile development practices
  • Well-presented online portfolio demonstrating strong craft, strategic thinking, and a collaborative process
  • A clear point of view on how AI is changing the craft of product design, with hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate and elevate your work; genuine curiosity for emerging tools and how they can solve real customer problems
